Volunteers are the backbone (or keel) of the Chicago Maritime Festival. They come from all walks of life and include sailors, divers, historians, bankers, boaters, accountants, students, and professionals both inside and outside the maritime community

The Chicago Maritime Festival is seeking volunteers to:

1) Help us get the word out; help circulate brochures, flyers, posters and to invite their friends inside and outside the maritime community to enjoy the festival.

2) Help with exhibits. Some artifacts and displays will need to be moved from the Chicago Maritime Society’s Resource Center at Jackson and Racine early on the day of the festival. They will also have to be returned there.

3) Help welcome people to the festival, take tickets and assist in presentations.
