Chicago Maritime Festival - Become a Sponsor!

In 2003, the first Chicago Maritime Festival produced the most diverse maritime program ever staged in Chicago; it drew over 1,000 people to its seminars, concerts, school program, and shanty sing. Since then, the festival and festival outreach programs have been attended by over 44,000!

The festival promotes awareness about and fosters connections between the maritime community in and around the city of Chicago, throughout the state of Illinois, across the Nation, and around the world. The first 12 years were held the last Saturday in February at the Chicago History Museum. We have now moved to our new home at the Old Town School of Folk Music during late April. Festival goers enjoy over 40 seminars and workshops, a maritime music concert, plus ship models, displays, and demonstrations presented by the individuals and organizations that make up the maritime community in Chicago and beyond.

Festival outreach programs serve community groups, libraries, schools, people with disabilities, and senior citizens in the weeks preceding the Saturday event.

The Chicago Maritime Festival is an Illinois not-for-profit corporation with federal 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt status.

*VIP Passes include admission to all of the daytime activities and preferential seating at the evening concert. A sponsor may elect to substitute attendance at the family concert upon request. Sponsors must make concert reservations with Chris Kastle (see below) no later than 5:00 pm April 3, 2015.  After that time, all concert tickets will be released for public sale due to limited seating.
